Re: 1 cylinder intermittent firing

As a start i would try turning in the idle adjuster screw in increments on that cylinder and see if it solves the problem (perhaps the carbs
need a bit of setting up)

Could also be a partially blocked pilot jet

Good luck

Re: KR1S tyres

BT050 isn't listed in any size on the Bridgestone UK website - but you could try one

I think you will find most KR1S owners go for the BT090 -not sure about KR1 as it is a narrower rim

Choice is ultimately up to you

Re: KR1S tyres

Not sure if the BT050 is still in production- dont think it was a sport tyre any way

BT92 is no more so BT090 is really your only choice for these rims

If your bike gets the amount of use mine do mileage doesn't really come in to it -plus tyres far exceed my riding ability

Re: KR1S tyres

As far as i am aware BT090 or stickier BT090 PRO are only road tyres available in UK -size 150/60 rear They fit no problem If you can wait (comes from Italy) this is best price on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Tyres-150-60-R18-Bridgestone-67H-Rear-BT-090-R-PRO/263757213358?ssPageName=ST...

Re: Urgent - RH exhaust / spannie needed for 1000 Bikes

Once headers get holes in they are really on borrowed time so probably not economical to fix For a temporary fix perhaps look on halfords website to see if there is something to repair it long enough to last for the time you will need it. I have tried a lot of exhaust repair products but most are no...

Re: KR1S Rear Sprocket Wanted

I should let the seller know (they may not know they are fake) - they should offer a refund

If no luck report it to Ebay

You should be able to get your money back

Re: KR1S Rear Sprocket Wanted

I bought a JT rear last year and fitted ok - never had a problem changing rear sprockets

Are you sure the sprocket carrier is for KR1/KR1S and not KR250A

Hole centres for sprockets on KR250A are 130mm, for KR1/KR1S they are 156mm

Re: How to measure ignition coil and pick-up

Any electrical checks that you can do are shown in the manual

http://www.kr-1s.co.uk/manual/

I don't think any one will have information that isn't in there

Re: Do KR1S wheels fit In KR1 ?

If you have the correct fork bottoms and calipers it can be done (yokes are interchangeable between models) You will also need the spindle, speedo drive (different spindle diameter) and spacer (again due to different spindle size), also different discs Rear goes straight in - but you will need the c...

Re: KR1S Rear Sprocket Wanted

They both use 520 chain - and JT are good sprockets

You may be able to save a few pounds if you buy items individually from different sellers

If its for your hybrid not sure how you will determine chain length (unless you are using the same set up as on your first one)

Re: KR1S Rear Sprocket Wanted

KR1 is 40t KR1S is 41t - but i guess yours is for your hybrid LC so you will have your own idea in mind

Re: not rev'ing past7500

I know you do not need a battery to start the bike Jan, and you need it for the excess current.

However does it not operate the powervalve motor ?

I can only tell you all my bikes and electrics always work better with a decent battery

Re: not rev'ing past7500

Do you ride with your lights on I have always found the lights on these bikes tend to drain the battery down (i don't think the charging circuit is very powerful - personal experience but i may be wrong) If your battery is not very good you may not be getting enough power to operate the power valve ...
