Re: KR1S tyres

haven't tried that combo, but have used about anything I had lying arround/available at the time and never had a bike doing "weird stuff". Even radial/diagonal combinations.

Re: KMX oversized piston.

Is there a particular reason why you don't want to use the sleeved cylinder? Although sleeved cylinders are generally regarded as inferior to plated ones, it may be of no consequence if the job has been done correctly. a sleved one is always inferior, not matter how good the job has been done. beca...

But these engines do end up sucking the oil from the gear box in to the crankcase. The pressure fluctuates and become a negative pressure/vacuum to draw the air and fuel in to the engine.
only when the seal is no longer sealing ;-)

Re: Kr 250 A Blowing smoke using gear box oil quick

you always have a circular spring on one side : that side must go to the side with the highest preasue. the spring delivers a primary pression on the seal, the higher the preasure behind the seal the better the sealing because the higher preaure pushes extra on the seal. so in your case : to the cra...

Re: Kr 250 A Blowing smoke using gear box oil quick

no need for a new shaft, have new retaining blocks welded on. make sure the shaft is heated as much as possible before welding spots on the blocks. file them down so the gear can pass, they do not have to be perfect or have the same shape as the rest, just big enough to retain the clip.

Mine certainly doesn't. Tell me where I was wrong in my reasoning about a local dealer coming to your house .....

What voltage does the ignition coil get ? When switched on or only when "kicking"? any clear reading/signal is probably ok. misread this, thought you were asking about pick-up voltage. voltage to the coil is switched on/off bye the CDI, and that voltage is supplied by the 3 seperate coils on the st...
