Schoolboy error on my behalf I didnt see the belly pan. The front pipes look different to mine, but it’s probably the angle of the camera.
nothing to do with the camera, first time I've seen these pipes.

a set of aftermarket pipes on either is always nice to have anyway..
only for the sound or weight, as the originals are VERY good and it's not easy to outperfrom them.

Re: Fork Spring Length?

checked my manual : KR1 springs are 450, service limit is 442. the inner legs are interchangeable, so that might be a possibility. Then in the KR1S manual I have, indeed it says 468mm, but someone drew a line through that and wrote 438 next to it. and as service limit he wrote 429mm ?? he also chang...

Re: 6v on cable

it's possible you have a high resistance in the wire (bad connectors/...) you can check this by placing both pins somwhere along the wire : it should reed 0V. if you do reed for example 2V, that means there is a resistance between the 2 measuring points. bringing the measuring points closer together...

Re: combustion chamber profile for pump petrol road

it all depends a bit on the timings of your engine, and whether you want high power, more midrange, ... http://users.telenet.be/jannemie/JanBros%202stroke%20Head%20Calc.xlsm squish area 40-50%, high revving engines/power more like 40. squish height minimum 1% of stroke, but to be on the safe side I ...

Re: Standard Fork Set Up ??

you'll have to figure that out for yourself. if you have no clue, stick to what the manual says. if you feel like the front is dancing over bumps, use thicker oil. if you feel it is to uncomfortable , use thinner oil. pre-load only set's the negative suspension travel, and not the stiffness of the s...

Re: Liqui Moly 2T

I haven't got a clue what I need to do with those numbers Garry  just started using the Putoline as I was tired of saving money on oils and spent the saved money on rebuilding engines. So I decided to use only very very good oils and don't care what they cost, and haven't had engine-trouble...

Re: Liqui Moly 2T

for a few bucks you are prepared to risk your engine ? are you even sure it is genuine Liqui Moly oil ? or someone selling fake oil for too much money ? besides that : your local dealer also needs to earn a few bucks from time to time or he'll no longer be there when you realy need him. So I don't c...

I've created a new calculator : http://users.telenet.be/jannemie/head%20calc.jpg squish calc is now always correct as per prof Blair, which wasn't always the same in the previous case. feel free to do whatever you want with it :P . password protected so one can not accidentaly flip it up. pasword = ...
