Re: Standard Fork Set Up ??

you'll have to figure that out for yourself. if you have no clue, stick to what the manual says. if you feel like the front is dancing over bumps, use thicker oil. if you feel it is to uncomfortable , use thinner oil. pre-load only set's the negative suspension travel, and not the stiffness of the s...

You can also make 2/3 stage variants, and plot all 3 pipes oget...

Re: Liqui Moly 2T

I haven't got a clue what I need to do with those numbers Garry  just started using the Putoline as I was tired of saving money on oils and spent the saved money on rebuilding engines. So I decided to use only very very good oils and don't care what they cost, and haven't had engine-trouble...

Re: Liqui Moly 2T

for a few bucks you are prepared to risk your engine ? are you even sure it is genuine Liqui Moly oil ? or someone selling fake oil for too much money ? besides that : your local dealer also needs to earn a few bucks from time to time or he'll no longer be there when you realy need him. So I don't c...

Re: MJ's and now also Janbros' cyl-heads calculator

apparently there was another problem with the "Auto Adjust Graph" buttons after securing the pages, should be solved now. can somebody test and confirm ? it's possible you have to change the macro-settings in Office, of better, save the file in a "secured location" (see Office help) for all the macr...

Re: Metzeler racetec tyres?

I use 160/60 tires on RGV 4.5inch and on Bandit400 4.0 inch wheels in my KR's. they fit, mainly because of the smaller wheel so the tire doesn't go as far insto the swingarm as a 160/60-18 tire. you have to be able to live with "chicken stripes" though, as the last cm of tire can not be used due to ...

Re: problems with chromium

I use Chromium, not Chrome. I want Google to know as little as possible about me.

the weird thing is : loging in directly to the forum is no problem, only the homepage.

Re: Steering damper

I have done many crashes with KR's, including one that destroyed a frame. never had a lug-problem.

which doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

Re: brake discs

I have a Bandit400 rear (only 4.00-17, run it with 160-60) complete with rear disc/caliper , just needs some spacers.

maybe they are the same. much cheaper to use everything, especialy as second hand GS500's are worth almost nothing
