Re: Kr 250 A Blowing smoke using gear box oil quick

Hi Stew,
The engine from memory can be removed and installed with the top end still on, bit of a juggle though. Much easier with the top end off.
Been a few years since I did mine.
Cheers

Re: Clutch switch will not stay in, #27010-1174

My KR is so close to being back on the road.

Broke my clutch switch today though !

Is there a way to bypass it, make it permanently on or off (whichever it needs) ?
What is it's purpose?
Does it stop you starting it in gear with the clutch pulled in?

Thanks
Skye

Re: need a valve? for the radiator overflow tube 11012-140

Just checked mine, it's not a valve, just a cap for the bottle through which the thin pipe carries on through into the bottle.

Re: need a valve? for the radiator overflow tube 11012-140

The valve thingy (technical term) is incorporated into the top of the thick tube that fits on top of the plastic overflow bottle. The picture in the parts diagram makes it look like it is halfway along the thin tube, but that section of thin tube is actually inside the thick pipe on top of the bottl...

There are quite a few pictures of case removal on this web site. Might be useful?
