Re: Stafford Show Saturday

There was a standard KR1S on the local VJMC stand, and a modified one on the UK 2 Strokes stand. No tandem-twin, I didn't need to lob mine in the van as a last-minute filler this year.

Re: Bad Starting - Time to bight the Bullet

When I spoke to KR owners in Japan, they all agreed that it fixed or at least significantly improved things. Good luck!

Motor Klasszic

There's a great feature on the KR250 in this Hungarian bike magazine, written and photographed by KR owner Viktor.

Very kindly, he gives me and my website a little mention and has sent me a PDF of the article.

Thanks Viktor, I love this. 8)

Re: Tandem Twin Owners

Just giving this post a little bump, in the light of the new Forum Admin and the push to breathe new life into this forum. Give us all an update on your KR, especially if you've not posted about it before. I've not done a lot with mine since it was at the Donington Endurance Legends event ...

Re: Start of the new Kr1s forum

Nice one. I don't come on here that often, but it's always been a useful source of helpful knowledge and I hope that continues. I'll try to post more relevant stuff when I can. Best of luck Bernie ! I run my own 2-stroke forum, and it often goes quiet on there too. Facebook is part of the reason for...

Re: New User Registration Problems

Thanks Al, and Bernie.

It's a good idea to have 2 or 3 Admins, but I'm not volunteering, I've got my own forum/sites to work on.

Re: New User Registration Problems

Thanks Bernie. Hopefully he'll pop up sometime with an answer. Shame that there are KR owners out there who are prevented from contributing.

Re: Hoping to buy a KR250 - what do I need to know?

Interesting.

As Gerrit said, it could be like the "max 276bhp" Nissan Skylines that actually push out nearer 400 when you buy one.

New User Registration Problems

I've got a link to this forum on my KR250.ORG home page, and I always encourage owners to join here and share knowledge/parts etc. I get a few emails though asking how to register here. Normally I can advise, but the latest one stumps me too - I tried registering a new user and keep failing the last...

Never heard of differing power outputs. Even the 'S' is quoted at 45bhp, same as the normal one.

Re: Recommended grey importers for a KR250

I man a club stand ( Diff'rent Strokers ) at Stafford Show every October. We sometimes have a KR on display, though not this year (unless we get let down at the last minute and I have to take mine again  ). Bikes change hands during the show every year. Not necessarily the ones on display, in f...

Re: Recommended grey importers for a KR250

It's been a long time since I imported a bike direct from Japan, and the importers I used are no longer in business (shame, 'cos they were great). I've got no experience of any of the current importers. I've been watching KR's advertised on Ebay and elsewhere for years, there are some questionable b...
