Wasn't aware of them Bernie. Agree that they're worth a look. I've sent the bloke who was asking me a link. Ta.

Re: KR250s in MCN

Yeah, Padgetts still have a 'brand new' KR as far as I know, Clive sent me some pics of it when it was being moved in the warehouse a few years ago. Sean Collister raced one of Padgetts KR's in the '85 Proddy TT. http://kr250.org/images/KR_collister_big.jpg And Whitham raced a KR at the Manx GP, but...

Re: Facebook

Facebook is so quick and easy to use, any old idiot can post a - usually poorly-spelled or barely readable - reply in seconds without putting any thought or effort in. You sometimes get crap advice on forums too of course, but you have to put a bit more effort in so it tends to weed out most of the ...

Re: Hello new round here but not yet a 250 Owner

Hi Josh. Depending on your eventual plans for it, it may be worth considering the red/black one on Ebay . Considering the eye-watering prices that particular dealer usually asks for stuff, that's not actually a bad price. You'd presumably be getting a complete-ish running registered bike as a starti...

It'd be great if Ted could be persuaded to come on here and share his knowledge.

How do I join this forum?

I get a lot of emails from Tandem-Twin owners having problems trying to join this forum. Please keep trying - this is the best place for us all to share knowledge and swap parts and bikes. There is a new Forum Administrator who is doing his best to kick the forum back into life, so be patient and ho...

Re: Ignition switch or worse?

I hate electrics. Sounds like you still have a dodgy connection somewhere. Your 'new' wiring harness will still be 30+ years old, and connections that look good can sometimes fail through vibration. If it's cutting out dead, ignore all the circuits for lights/etc and just focus on the main ones. Hav...

Not sure, sorry. Try googling the partnumber, which is 27005-5041 I think. I bought a used one from Japan (with key) but they're all a bit worn after all these years.
