Re: Is it me ?

FB is very good at self promotion. The wave of 2T nostalgia is pointing them all at FB rather than the more informative forums. The unwary are also drawn in on eBay and are buying stuff that is being advertised by the inevitable chancers. People will get bitten and hopefully the newer owners will fi...

Re: Kr1s zx hybrid

I tried a 160 in my KR1s with RGV 4.5" rear and it was too wide for the swing arm. The wheel wouldn't spin !!!! A 160 is bordering on too big for a 4.5" rim. As far as I know 150 is the recommended size for a 4.5" rim

Re: kr1s gutted expansion chambers

Photobucket is working again. I think people left in droves to Flikr and they lost all the advertising. Photobucket is the easiest to keep things organised with a proper library and folders. Flikr is just a massive list of photos that you can link to an Album but it doesn't organise them efficiently...

KR1s in South Manchester

OK I've found another bike I want so the KR1s is up for sale £4750. The only fault is the left hand ear on the nose fairing beyond the mirror is present but snapped so needs a plastic weld. PM me to come view the bike in South Manchester. Full build details here http://www.kr-1s.co.uk/forum/viewtopi...

Re: Shrinking a 300 to a 250

The final step(s) Now properly run in there was just the jetting to sort out. Cruzin Images on eBay supply lots of aftermarket carb kits at a really good price. Range of jets, needles, float needles gaskets etc. It's all in the pack. The air box is ever so slightly smaller than std with the bottom m...
