Hi does any one have the colour codes for the front brake calipers and the front forks and yes the rebuild has started :shock:

there was a guy that did get the engine out complete, by turning it upside down, not recommended. just buy a new gasket set, or remove both barrels with the head intact, that's what I did until I found the gasket sets on evilbay including the elusive head gasket. see my thread "finally started" or ...

Remove engine from frame

Hi I was just looking at the workshop manual for engine removal and it says to remove the head and the rear barrel on an 84 model Kr 250 tandem has anybody done it with out the need to do this ? any tips

yep worked but it took 4 hours :roll: but destroyed the brass thingy's wheres the best place to get replacement brass things for the choke :?: :?: :?: :?:

Advice needed

Hi Guys Im reconditioning the pwk carbies and have struck a snag the choke pots have been seized in the hole I have had them soaking in penetrene for the last 7 day but still cannot get them to budge any Ideas suggestions that have worked alloy body on the carb and the brass choke insert

There is a substitution available a zxr 400 clutch cable is compatible minor differences and should be available locally
