Re: "The Kawasaki" magazine

Interesting to see just how important the 250 / 400 cc market was to the Japanese, I also own a Suzuki Katana 250 Jap import and in 1993 there was a three month waiting list in Japan for a new one!

Re: Start of the new Kr1s forum

Well done on keeping the forum alive, I'm too old for the Friendface / twit generation and there has been a lot of good advice and banter (see, I told you I was old) and after meeting up with a few of the guys on here at the Ace cafe a couple of weeks ago it shows the enthusiasm for these little bik...

Re: Blue Haze Ace Cafe

Great to meet you guys as well, stayed a bit longer and got a red face from sunburn! was funny to find out from Mike that the spare petrol tank I have in my loft has been owned by four people on this site including himself  there were some great bikes there, zero emissions not included.

Re: Blue Haze Ace Cafe

Had a chat with a bloke who owns a 350 lc at Newlands corner at the weekend, he said he was going, might try to get there a little earlier (11am) it's such a crap journey from where I live and the hanger lane gyratory system scares the s**t out of me.

Re: Unfortunately not my KR-1R

That's Mikes bike from this forum, recognised it from a feature in Practical Sportsbikes, it has Jollymoto pipes, track day stickers from Japan and a fugly rear seat cover, as he ships bikes around for a living I'm doubting he rode it there, or maybe I'm wrong :?:
