Great to meet you guys as well, stayed a bit longer and got a red face from sunburn! was funny to find out from Mike that the spare petrol tank I have in my loft has been owned by four people on this site including himself there were some great bikes there, zero emissions not included.
Had a chat with a bloke who owns a 350 lc at Newlands corner at the weekend, he said he was going, might try to get there a little earlier (11am) it's such a crap journey from where I live and the hanger lane gyratory system scares the s**t out of me.

That's Mikes bike from this forum, recognised it from a feature in Practical Sportsbikes, it has Jollymoto pipes, track day stickers from Japan and a fugly rear seat cover, as he ships bikes around for a living I'm doubting he rode it there, or maybe I'm wrong

My KR-1 does less than 350 miles a year! but when the conditions are right I can't think of anything that is as fun to own and ride as a 250cc two stroke, I never have to visit the doctors 'cos the Kr-1 is the best therapy in the world, sadly the day will come when I can no longer get my leg over (o...

Sub-contracting is ruining the trust between a customer and vendor, companies should state up front that they might have to sub-contract, then give you the chance to walk away.
My Kr-1 has had the rear spindle clip on it since I bought it 28 years ago, don't think it's an mot advisory though as my other bike, a Suzuki 250 Katana has never had a clip, r clip or split pin in it since I bought it 5 years ago and always passes it's mot.
I've owned my Kr-1 from new and it's only covered 15000 miles (in fact it passed 15000 miles the last time I used it) it hasn't been used since November last year (because of work and crap weather) but it has just started on the third kick which I think is amazing, It covered just 400 miles last yea...
