Re: Start of the new Kr1s forum

Excellent news, really pleased you've picked this up.

This forum is a fantastic wealth of information with a lot of experience which needs to be kept alive.

An injection of enthusiasm is probably just what it needs at the moment.

I can't say that there is anything that is drawing me in to look at what people are d...

Re: Choke Lever

No problem Salty.

It's been sat here for god knows how long so it won't hurt being in a box for a bit longer.

Good to know another B2 is nearing completion.

Re: First Impressions

Its very comfortable with a screen that actually keeps some windblast off. Steering not as sharp as I was expecting although I have temporary unsuitable rear tyre. The front fork feels quite soft, must increase preload. The power builds fairly evenly with an extra whoosh at the magic number - good ...

Re: not rev'ing past7500

Have you checked your voltage regulator? It's quite common that this fails and smokes your electrics including the CDI.

Won't fix your problem but could be a root cause.

Re: not rev'ing past7500

Are your pipes coked up?

I've had this before. Although having said that it did seem to rev normally in neutral.

Someone suggested this to me and I dismissed it but was out of ideas so tried a tatty spare set and it went off like a rocket.

Is that the bolt I asked about earlier, any idea if it's the front or rear one Andrew, I need the frame end bolt, but suspect that might be the caliper hanger one??
Hi Paul,

Is this the one you are after? It has the cross drilled hole for the split pin.
