Re: spraying engine ?

Hi Thanks for the replies ,forgot to say this is a TZR 125 that I'm spraying not the kr.

the biggest reason for rattle cans is I'm building the bike with my 12year old lad so trying to let him do as much as I can.

Think it will be 2pac for the casing and vht for the barrel ,see how it goes

Re: Easy USD front end for KR1/1S

Like what you've done so far ,keep up the good work I was intreasted in what your all saying about springs,I have fitted the zxr400l forks and found the springing way to hard ,after speaking to maxton they say the original fork carries a 7.5 rate spring and they have offered me a lighter rate to see...

Re: forking help needed !

Hi ,thanks for the replies . Spoke to a few suspension places and they all say that the original spring is rated at 7.5nm and that is what they recommend ,but more of a linear then a swop to lighter oil or a full damper kit should give me a better frontend so being on a budget its going to be maxton...

Re: Kr1s zx hybrid

your right a 160 tyre won't fit in the kr swingarm ,but he is using the zxr arm so should be able to go to 160 except hes moved the sprocket inboard and I think that will compremise the fitting of the larger tyre ! hope I'm wrong cause the zxr swingarm looks amazing an I would consider that mod for ...

Re: Kr1s zx hybrid

Think you might of misunderstood what I was saying

He has moved the rear sprocket in i.e closer to the centre of the wheel ,meaning he now has less room for a wider tyre than could already be fitted to the stock wheel set-up.and the zxr is meant to have a 160 tyre.

Re: Kr1s zx hybrid

that looks great Like the idea of the zxr swingarm ,But surely by moving the sprocket across like you have means that you still can't go any wider with the rear tyre ! I would of thought that nothing more than a 150 will fit , which is about as wide as the standard wheel will take ! I fitted a zxr 4...
