Hi there Jan, well I have been talking to Ben at my recent round of the Two Stoke GP championship at Silverstone. He told me all about the heads you are commissioning and convinced me it would be a good idea for me to integrate a set into my race bike. Is it possible for me to order one at this late stage? Ideally I would like several sets of O rings because I obviously take my engine apart on a regular basis as it is only used on track. Have had a look at the photos and the head does look beautifully done. If it's possible how can I get the payment for it over to you?
My KR is coming along slowly but I'm getting there. Have had many teething problems with my Ohlins front end but it's starting to work now and can't wait for my next round at Donnington when hopefully it will be all set up.
Thanks Virg

Lovely isn't it Virg. If Jan can get one added to the order, he can send it to Shaun with mine and I'll get it over to you.

Hi there, am trying to send a PM but not going well. You may have received it (probably twice), but my inbox seems to think it's still stuck in there. Let me know as it's just annoying me and have wasted 45 mins trying to work out how to make it send! I'll stick to good old fashioned email any day!
thanks
Virg

Hi Vergie,
Have you finished your workshop yet, and did you sort out your pressurisation problem?
Cheers
Bernie :)

there is something wrong with the bigger hole I made in the head  after fitting the head, I got some water comming out the exhaust, too kthe head of again, looked for a reason, and found out the insert isn't sticking out anymore, but is lower than the head surface :-k when I made the insets, they were sticking out a couple of 1/100's of a mm.

making a new "jig" to bolt the head on my mill to see if the problem lies with my old "jig" . but these things take so much time to make them exact :?

Oh dear Jan, how frustrating seems like the story of all engineering at the moment. You will sort it all soon I'm sure! Hope you got my PM eventually.
Bernie yes I think the pressurisation is resolved as not doing it any more. Never worked out what exactly was causing it but having cleaned and rebuilt the gearbox all is now well. Did find lots of crap in there from the stupid Tuner's rubbish gasket goo everywhere - maybe that was the problem. Did you get my text from a couple of weeks ago?

Good, need to organise getting your sneekoscope back to you. And yes the workshop is built now but not fully finished with shelving and where stuff is going to go to sort out along with the final painting now the temperature has warmed up. I love it so much, my little oasis. To any of you considering saving up to build your own workshop - just do it. It is just so amazing nipping in there and tinkering away stress free. Well worth every penny, it just makes working on the bike sooooooo easy!
