carb slides

right guys what are your thoughts on these two carb slides, they are from my kh400 special both a number 4 but both different.
why would they be different??
is one better than the other??
or is it someones home mod??

I have two of the bottom ones and one of the top ones does any one have a spare one of the bottom type they would care to sell

did the cylindre with the "weird one" run ok ? if so you could make your other 2 the same.
You know it's cold outside when you trip over dog shit instead of standing in it.

it ran ok but the slide vibrates like mad in the carb body :shock:

Have you checked all the throttle slide springs, the middle one could be short/snapped/weak?
As the spring holds the slide taught against the throttle cable.

I haven't checked the spring re the vibration, what I am more concerned with is the odd shape of the slide as this will effect carb balance at low revs obviously at full chat it won't make a blind bit of difference. :mrgreen:
