Gear and brake lever very lose

Hi
I've noticed both my gear and brake lever are lose, it's where the levers go through the frame/ foot hanger area, the barrell joint.
It's like the connection Has woren down by a fraction and causing movement.
Hope it makes sense lol
Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?
