Fork Oil

Post by Bikemike »

Hi, my new kr-1s has been fitted with progressive springs in the front and a very thick oil, as the previous owner (John B) fancied taking it on the track.
Trouble is I'm a wee bit lighter than John and the forks don't move with my puny weight on them, any suggestons as to a grade of oil to use ( I'm 9 stone dripping wet and it will have mainly road use )
Many thanks,
Mike

10w and set the level at about 160mm from the top forks compressed and no spring fitted.

Cheers Mark, I will do that this weekend, not expecting it to be plush but at the mo it is solid!
