Rebuilding Standard KR1 FORKS for track use

Post by blanc »

Hi all

Turning my 88 KR1 into a budget track bike, going to rebuild my forks using new seals and oil What do you suggest for track use?

nothing wrong with the kr front end,i run the stock setup on the track and its more than capable for trackday use.
if you swap to S forks, which are the same but a different length you will also have to swap calipers, then discs wont fit etc etc.
save yourself the hassle, change the seals and oil and off you go.
