wheel seal

Post by SP_BOTT »

Hi, as I'm about to put the wheels in, is there a seal thats supposed to go around the speedo drive?? ie the drive sits in, as there seems to be a lot of space around the shoulder, but not enough for a seal.

I dont think I removed one (not in my parts), and can't see ref to it in the manual, perhaps an O-ring instead?

Think I've just found it, looks like a bearing in the manual

Found the one inside the drive unit, (that buts up to the bearing hidden from view) but dont think there is one on the outside/fixed into the wheel?? Or am I going mad :) just doesn't look like any room, but the speedo drive seems 'slack'
