KR1S discs will fit straight on with nod mods, although I don't know what the hub width is.

it's not a streight fit. The KR1S hub is about 2mm narrower I believe, + the diametre of the front axle is smaller.

You'll need to machine the disc faces down as well as the hub Mark

Mark

I think ZXR400 disc spacing is 130mm - which seems to be a standard Jap size for bikes running a 120 front tyre.

I believe the KR is 120mm spacing (same as RGV) - so you have to take 10mm off.

This is normally done as 2.5mm off on each side of the front wheel and taking the caliper mounts back 2.5mm. ends up with discs at 125mm spacing.

All dimensions are from memory so would need checking.

ZXR400 front axle is bigger dia but this isn't a problem as it means you can make captive alloy spacers saves struggling with spacers falling out.

I have 3 x ZXR400 wheels in the container. Ben has first dibs on them if they are stock - but they may already be machined. Also got discs etc. Plan on having a look this weekend. Also have two sets of calipers which might have been modified - I will need to check. Bought them off Elf a few years back now and can't remember what it was I bought (modified or not) :(

disc spacing on ZXR400L front wheel is only 110mm Marc
KR1S is 5mm smaller I believe, and other Kawa wheels are 5mm wider (like ZXR750, ZX6/9,...

for those interested in ZXR400 wheels : they have the code F1286 on them, and are also used in the first ZX6R model (95-97), and on the ZR7-S, maybe you'll be more lucky to find a cheap ZX6 or ZR7 one, because after all : nobody is after them  (and I know because I just bought one after spending a couple of months searching for a cheap one as it is going to be repainted. Got one last week with a brand new Pilot road on it for 125euro post included 8)

Jan

I was referring to the distance between discs not the distance across the the disc mounting face on the wheel.

Not translation - I was not clear enough as to what the dimensions I mentioned referred to - sorry.
