White Power rear shock

Post by Binetta Steve »

Hi quick question does anyone have any info on on WP rear shocks. I have one fitted to my 1s ,i downloaded a generic fact sheet and ive looked at sag, but am unsure as to who or what is serviceable. I rides realy well so in the principle of if it aint broke........... I would just like to get the best out of it.

There very well made and work well, they were a popular upgrade for h***a RS125 GP bikes in the early 90's,never seen one for a KR1 though, well worth keeping and getting the best out of it i reckon.
if you want it serviced try MH Racing in wiltshire, they specialise in WP stuff.

Very good quality shocks that normaly work very well. I have seen them for KR1S once before.

Service parts are easily available but no replacment parts if you break something on it.

Just have it serviced every couple of years or every 5K miles, should cost you about £85

Cheers Proff, sounds like i have a bit of a one off! The steering damper is WP so maybe a previous owner was a WP fan. Im pleased to hear they are good bits of kit and note your points of service every 5k. Prob organise that on here next year.
