Re: Rebuilding my first of two KR250 Tandem Twin Bikes
I am also about to begin rebuilding one of my many KRs.
Apparently the dampers in the primary gears can cause hard starting if they are out of spec?
It is covered in the clutch section of the workshop manual.
Others here will probably be able to shed more light.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Re: Rebuilding my first of two KR250 Tandem Twin Bikes
I also think the starting problem is contributed by the kick start not turning the engine fast enough, try bump starting when hot works on mine starts easely
