2017 KR500 announced !

Post by StrokerBoy »

Did anyone see the Retro Reboot feature in Classic Mechanics magazine last month ? 145bhp/145Kg square-four fuel-injected two-stroke. I've cleared a space in my garage already... [-o<

Some UK rags try and pass off unlikely artists impressions as leaked factory info regarding a definite new model. Not this one, they're 100% fantasy, just dreaming out loud really. Check out Kar's website.

If I win the Euro Millions, I will commission one - in red

Well they now saying that the environmental saviour (the diesel) is now the devil really, so I would like to think of a world inhabited by brand new KR500s and perhaps a couple of Wartburgs for when it is cold or wet 8)

Ohhhhh lovely, if only....CMM said back in 2015 IDP Moto would actually manufacture a batch of Kars re-design of the retro rebooted RD350LC but no mention of that for quite some time...shame as im sure they would find buyers.

Yeah, he's done 2 different designs, there are proper end-cans on the green (and blue) one here :

Hi Guys,
Hope you all had a great Christmas.
Just been reading through the older posts (as there is nothing worth watching on TV).
I am still dreaming about how I will spend my lottery winnings (ticket bought),
A twostroke square four would be at the top of the list still.
Cheers Bernie 8)

A two-stroke square four would mean a Suzuki RG500 whether in street or race version as a real KR500 is unobtanium. You could always buy the 1982 KR500 in the Tamiya 1:12 version of course!
But if you want something really wicked, Bernie, how about a 1960s Suzuki 250 square four, official factory designations RZ63, RZ64 and RZ65, but better known as the "Whispering Death"?
"Mine is a long and sad tale", said the mouse.
"Indeed it is", said Alice, looking at the mouse's tail.

Hi Gerrit, if I did win the lottery, I would make Korky an offer he could not refuse 8)
Or have a replica built from scratch.
