OK, so it needs a bit of tidying up. But it runs, it's a rare 'S' model (powervalve top-end) and it's just sat there waiting for someone to go collect it. I don't own a van though, so if someone can give me a lift to fetch it, I'll give you £50 for petrol.
Oh yeah, it's in Iraq.

sniff..... It's sad to see a KR in that sort of state, lost and all alone in such a dangerous place.
Someone needs to call the U.N.!
I'm sure once they saw how badly treated and neglected it has been, they'd call in a special forces squad to rescue it asap. I'm sure it would be given refugee status.... [-o<
I'd take it in, where it could be with some of it's relatives whilst undergoing rehabilitation, and after a while it could join the rest of the community and live a happy and productive life...
BTW where did you find this poor thing Tim?

Bloke called Dan was 'working in Iraq' a couple of years ago, found it abandoned, stuck some fuel in it and managed to get it running. He wanted to take it back home to the US but wasn't allowed.
He didn't know what it was though, so did a bit of research when he got home, found my website and sent me a couple of pics.
Are we up for a rescue attempt then ? I'll bring some sandwiches if someone else will bring a BlackHawk helicopter and some flak-jackets.

If he could find a container to stuff it into, I could probably find a home for it.StrokerBoy wrote:Bloke called Dan was 'working in Iraq' a couple of years ago, found it abandoned, stuck some fuel in it and managed to get it running. He wanted to take it back home to the US but wasn't allowed.
(I can't believe I'm sticking my neck out like this. It must be the beer.)

Another one ! Did all the 'S' models go to the Middle East ?
This one's in Iran, and has just been rescued by Saeid. He contacted me looking for a copy of the workshop manual. He's previously breathed life into an abandoned KDX200 so hopefully this one has a more hopeful future. [-o<
