When are you going to post the measurements on the finished pistons?StrokerBoy wrote:=D>ScottaKR wrote:Once they're finished and I have them back, I'll measure the hole size and post up all the details along with pics of the modified pistons.

Re: Pistons
Sadly the poor old Tandem Twin is currently sitting up the back of the garage waiting for me to finish the ZXR rebuild before I can get to it.Mustang wrote:When are you going to post the measurements on the finished pistons?StrokerBoy wrote:=D>ScottaKR wrote:Once they're finished and I have them back, I'll measure the hole size and post up all the details along with pics of the modified pistons.
The big problem with using the KMX pistons is the difference in weight, as they are somewhat heavier (can't remember exactly how much), and would put the engine out of balance.

Hi,
Did you fit the +2mm KMX pistons to your KR250, was it just a straight swap?
I have a complete bike just lying in the garage just cause one piston is missing
Would you advice me to fit the KMX + 2mm ones? please advice
Thanks
