On my trips round the internet and occasional (expensive) visits to Yahoo Auctions Japan, I've found various aftermarket parts that were available for KR's in the past. Bodywork, exhausts and rearsets mainly, with a definite 80's-Japan style to them. Beet and Daytona are the two big names, and though still trading I don't think they make KR stuff any more. You can still buy gorgeous new exhausts like these though :
I've also found pics of KR's that have had some of these parts fitted, and some with wheel/brake/suspension upgrades from other bikes. I've posted the best of these pictures on my site, just for inspiration. If you have any more, please let me know.

Those 'Super Street Mk.II' exhausts are Y69300 (£337) on Yahoo Auctions Japan.
There's some AlphaRacing ones on there too, at Y65000 (£316) - they're also advertised on their own site.

Very cool. Been thinking about rearsets for mine mow that I've got some clip-ons for it. Looks like I'm not the only one to mod the standard gear lever to attach a shaft.
The second one looks great with the KR1 wheels & brakes on, and the very neat trim of the side panel to help show off those sweet chambers properly.
So many ideas......... so little money.
