Hi. Rotary disks were badly damaged beyond use.
both disks were removed together with small reed plates adjacent to it,
better say PRIS system was deleted. 'Yamaha YB125 super' reeds was
selected(had to do some grinding on reed plate stops) and fitted in
designed housing which was installed between engine and carb.
Due to this had to forget the original air filter casing and use individual
paper filters for the carbs. Engine is starting and running normaly.
Reeds instead of rotary disks !

Just read about all the mods youve done (well the ones youve listed so far), and I'm in awe of what youve managed to do. The bike looks great in the pic you posted in the Tandem Twin Owners post, but the ones youve put here don't seem to work for some reason. Can't wait to see some more pics of your bike, as it looks fantastic!

Personal reasons:
1. My discs were badly damaged.
2. No spares available were I live.
Technical reasons:
3. Disc is a moving part, moving part usualy wears out earlier.
4. For inspection/renewal reed does't neet major engine dismantling, only carbs to be removed!
5. Deffective reed is more detectable than deffective disc.
