Well, both me and the bike survived Friday, on Cadwell full circuit. I'm never gonna set any lap records, but I managed to pick off a couple of VFR400's and even a 600 or two in my novice group most sessions. The pics don't lie though, I'm not much cop at leaning over...
The bike got harder to start throughout the day, but didn't miss a beat once running. I had to nip up the exhaust bolts at lunchtime, it was blowing a bit from the front one. Managed 137kms over 6 sessions.
Oh, and don't take the piss out of my leathers, they were free...

Worked out why it was so loud at the noise test (100 dB) and why it seemed to get louder all day...
... there's a hole in the lower seam of the rear exhaust.
The front pipe comes off in a couple of minutes, the rear one means dismantling half the bike.
