KR250 for sale at Stafford Show
You don't see many of these for sale
Stumbled across this one at Stafford show today (found it amongst the labyrinth of stands and people after a tip off from Strokerboy )
Prices are going crazy though, I know at the show the stuff always seems overpriced but nearly £5K.... At half the price i would ave bought it...
Ouch ouch ouch

Well worth a visit as long as you get there early as the traffic and Queue to get in was horrendous after 11am.
Lots of stalls and plenty of second hand spares (especially if you have a 50/60/70s bike). Not so much stuff for the 80/90s bikes.
Didn't see much for the KR250/KR-1/S etc. FastLane had a KR-1S for sale that was clean but expensive. A rusty S tank on a stall was priced at £80
Always great to see some of the old racing machines and catch up with 2Stroke friends and colleagues though

I saw that, it looked like a tidy bike, but 5k
We got a rear indicator, mirror, and front right brake caliper all in very good nick for our Lawson, all for the princely sum of 31 english pounds So stuff not too dear.
There was a nice right side KR1s pipe on one of the stalls for £50, looked like a shop soiled NOS part or a one changed at PDI by a dealer many moons ago. If it had been a left I might have had it cos the one on ours is a bit scabby.

It is the same one (at least it has the same number plate!). There must be a significant mark-up on the cost & landed price, The low kms one that I purchased in similar condition was AUD $2,500 (1,600 quid). Though admittedly it's not the nice green & white colours (it's black & red) and I'll spend at least $1,000 getting it inspected, registered, new tyres etc.

No worries there, it will be remaining red & black and I'm more than happy with that colour scheme (though I do love the green ones!).StrokerBoy wrote:Don't you dare paint it Richie !Richie Rich wrote:Though admittedly it's not the nice green & white colours (it's black & red)
I did just miss out on a seat cowl on yahoo Japan that was green - I would've had to have painted that though!
