Cleaning plastic oil and coolant tanks

Post by Falcon911 »

Didn't know which section to put this in but it is to do with plastic!

Ok what do the restorers recommend for cleaning/bringing oil and coolant plastic tanks back to as new (ok nearly new!) condition?

Many thanks

I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum that a dishwasher is one of the preferred methods.
If you have a Parking Ticket or Speeding Ticket take a look at PePiPoo. Helping the Motorist get Justice.

Put a little wash powder inside, put tank in a couple pillow cases and give it a 60 dgree wash in the washing machine. Works well :o)
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..
