Does anyone know what plastic the fairings and panels are made from?

how to get the freakin stickers off?!

Post by rogierpost89 »

Hi there,

Im fixing my top fairing. I repared all the crack by solding them.. Very pleased by the result of that by the way. Now I want to get the stickers off so I can start the painting process. But these stickers are though! How did you guys manage to do this? I tried heating them but that didn't work for me.

Cheers,

Rogier

if your misses has a hairdryer use that by far the best way
as the heat desplaces the glue making the process of removing the decals easier 8) just remember to keep moving the dryer \:D/

Hi chaps.

i'm currently restoring my 250 after it got stolen from me.
most of the fairing was smashed so i took the challenge to rescue it by using my industrial glue gun and fibre matting.
