Restorinb black plastic

Post by smithyrc30 »

Hi does anybody have a good method for making the black plastic bits black again?

Autosol used to sell back to black, which actually worked for a good proportion of parts I used it on. Can't seem to find it any more.

Might be because it contained something that is now banned.

Some of the black finishing waxes do a reasonable job, but they don't last very long.

Anybody got anything they use?

Cheers

I'm trying Armor All Protectant spray at the moment and it's giving reasonable results.
