Are the Rs 50 fairings around the same size as the Rs 250 as ive got an T reg Rs 50 thats sitting there doing nothing so could nick the fairings off that if they match up. Would it be a big task to fit Rs headlights and Cbr tail light?
Cheers
I think you'll have a harder time getting the CBR tail piece to fit. As Scooble said, she had to drastically modify the rear sub frame on her bike.
I have also cut away the rear section which carries the pillion pegs and exhaust hangers.

I think the RS50 fairing will be too narrow, so it's probably best you get a new fibre glass after market one of your choice.

Doing the lights should be relatively straight forward, you may just need to make some brackets, but that shouldn't be too difficult depending on your working facilities.

Sorry I don't have any decent pictures of it to hand and "the pictures don't really do it justice" to quote Andy B.

I have been very busy lately, but as soon as I get time (this will probably be spring time) I intend on taking a mold of the tail piece, so if you're still thinking about doing something, I might be in a position to help you out.

Also, if the early rs125 fairings fit surely the later 'pointy' stuff would fit as well, that would bring the KR right up do date.

Pointy race body kit

If they could be modded to fit i would be more than happy to do it cause i was after getting an 06- Rs125 before i brought the kr1 for a project which back fired as then got laid off ](*,)
Was also wondering if u have to have to change the forks to fit a different front hugger?
Cheers Ash

I would say no, but I made mine about 15 years ago and it's due for a revision, which is on my list of jobs to do.

oooh, I like the fairing...very curvy.
But I really don't like the look of the seat, all the subframe and gubins looks a bit ugly

what's that bodywork off? it really suits the bike 8)

i know the rails are exposed but with a black frame it would blend

I really like the exposed oil reservoir look
just prefer the tail end of the frame to be covered
and /or loose the luggage loops
the heat gun nozzle mufflers are different

cool photo...

Nice adaption of MV bodywork. Not sure about the engine! Interesting head gasket(s) and waterway being opened up - anyone any idea why?
