Fairing bracket

Hi . Can anybody post me a couple of pictures of the lower fairing locating bracket. Got 2 bikes and neither have this bracket. Thanks

I assume you mean the brackets that bolt on to the main spar of the frame. You'll need to let us know what you have there. KR1 and KR1S fairing brackets are different and not interchangable.

Heres one of each

The cast alloy one is KR1 - pressed steel is KR1-S

The KR1 type breaks in a crash but the middle bit is replaceable

Just to clarify its all cast in one piece but the cylindrical centre section can be repaired or replaced - it would be very difficult to make on from scratch unless you have one to copy from.

I'm afraid it isn't those brackets, although that was very helpful coz I didn't realize there were 2 different bracket types(learning as I go here) . The bracket I am looking for locates into the lower part of the fairing/belly pan like a peg and socket. From what I can see it may attach to the front of the motor and maybe to the radiator. Hope this is a better description. Thanks guys

page C10 in the parts list, nr 11046-1034 :wink:

in bolts on the front bottom off the cylindre head, and as you say, it supports both radiator and bottom fairing.
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

That's it . Didn't have one on either bike I have . Got one organized , do you have one aswell Salty? If you have you could put it in with the belly pan . Thanks again guys.
