Brilliant Wayne =D>

If you ever need a career change, I think you've just found it. Cracking idea about using stainless too.

Yes thanks for the info, (joking about the secret part :)) I think I have some stainless pipes of varying sizes that will do the same, and a lot less hassle I hope.

What is the mytre glue? special stuff or woodwork adhesive of some sort?

Any idea if it will crack around the metal parts when tightening the bolts?

its all purpose stuff but does say for hard plastic so don't try gluing any tesco carrier bags together, it shouldn't crack as the pressure shoul be on the metal as it goes right through, well thats the theory anyway, but shouldn't need to over tighten using a bit of copper slip won't come undone hopefully cheers wayne.

hi wayne it 's superglue mate, we use it at work for plastic, but you can use it for anything, the more porous a surface is you need to use more activator to moisten it but i use it for ceramic, brick, glass you name it. it has poor filling properties though, ie. unlike araldite for instance. have sold the gsxr now but the fairing was still ok after 4 years.

also used it on the tank infill panels on the kr
