Hi guys been working on the old bodywork today, mainly the tank, which as I am finding out has been hammered in its past life! So many dents at the front and so much filler! No bother though!
Now what I'm hankering for are some new fasteners and bolts to put it all together with, has anybody used B!ker bling on eBay for their fasteners? If so shall I use em or do you recommend anyone else?
And does anyone know where I can get the white with black border number board for a red and grey kr1s?

Cheers Martin.

Ps hope this p!$h weather leaves soon!! Shetland is getting bleak!

Hi guys, body work is all in primer still, looks good though. The shotblasters I used for my wheels did a really crap job, the bearing faces are a bit pitted where the arseholes were told not to go, so I'm needing spend some time on them. I was going to spray it using water base, but having spoken to some old fudds in the know they say old fashioned base coat is the stuff to use, it will be a thicker coating and smooth the look of the fairings a treat! Only problem is good basecoat is a serious price!!! Haha!
In the meantime I'm riding this....

Hi eye Bernie!
I have primer on all the bodywork and wheels, it looks good, very neat, and the filler on the tank came very good, I have finally got the bike into the house, so things are stepping up in pace!!
Since I have seen the standard of a few of these bikes on here I will be removing and redoing some parts!!
Some pics shortly, as I'm just gotten around to getting photobucket!!
