Mitaka or Wossner pistons?

Post by smoovly »

One is twice the price of the other, I need a pair before I send my barrels off and have Mitaka in my 350 YPVS and they are ok so far. I've heard the quality concerns with the cheaper ones but is that a thing of the past?

I am looking at the PJME website, that's all they stock unless there's a third option?

Thanks

Shaun, I think that piston has been incorrectly listed. Research elsewhere suggests that the 7022M07100 code applies to a 71mm piston for the Z900/1000.
Wasn't Jarno the one planning to place a special order with Wiseco to make pistons for the KR-1/1S...?

James

Thanks James
I did no more than pick up the ebay link.. doh
Wouldn't have bought them myself without checking out with supplier
Same seller also has Mitaka and Wossner for sale so I would have called them.

Yes I wanted some pistons from Jarno when he last advertised ..but preferred two ring rather than single ring. Not sure he got enough potential orders to make them which was a shame.
