thought ide stick up some photos of the rebuild for cadwell on 15th...

building one good gearbox out of three....

the reason for the rebuild.....bloody ring pegs........ :evil:

yfz 450 quad rad very very cheap on ebay....

top bracket turned around....

bottom still retains the belly pan support...

then swap the hoses.....

might move the bottom of the rad forward,its the top that has trouble with clearance of the top fairing...and add some screen rim protector to the plastic....

I've had a ring peg break before, just think I did too many trackdays on one set of pistons. That was genuine pistons but 8 or more trackdays!

Luckily didn't cause much damage to mine at the time but cut short the trackday.

found a problem with the gears...stiff going down the box...changed the detent arm(there are two types..i never knew)...and sorted it out...different size wheels...bigger was better...... :D

down wednesday night for thursday...anybody else going......pop over and say hello.....
