PWK 28mm pattern carbs on flebay

I don't normally post but thought I'd share. They supply them in larger sizes also but I'm sticking to the std size as it's going to be a summer fun bike.
They look very similar but are not handed so the idle screw could be an issue, has anyone tried these?
I'm going to take a punt on them as mine are worn really bad between the slide and body.
I plan to transfer all the jets and needles over (if they fit) and hopefully the choke plungers.

Just looked at them , three have been sold, maybe a triple owner!!!
Why does it say you would have to run premix if using on a two stroke?

Probably because there is no Union for a two stroke feed to the carb, not a problem on the KR1.

There are a few people who have used them on the RD forum and added a feed in for the 2 stroke oil, from what ive read, they seem to work well after some set up.

No worries, I'll be testing them during the week. If anybody requires any more information/measurements let me know.

Koso carb fits the air box rubbers and intake rubbers perfectly, so do the choke fittings, the flexible idle cable is a different thread so I'll have to make an adapter, I've adjusted the air mixer screws to one turn out, and these were stiff to turn, so I removed them first, blowout the hole (and the rest of the carb)and refitted, this seemed to loosen them. I'll updat soon.

Had a play with a thread gauge, the kr carb idle screw is m4 0.7 pitch, new carb is m4 0.5.

Sorted, everything bolted up perfect, I ran a remote fuel tank, gave it full choke, and the kr started on the third kick, I balance up the carbs, gave the throttle a couple of blips on the throttle, and it settled straight back down, I'm impressed, I then built the kr up for a trip round the block, well I've not ridden a kr for about 22 years, but it went ok up to 6000rpm, I'm running in a crank and two rebores and I've got the power valve cables disconnected. I still need to drill a vacuum takeoff for the fuel tap.
