Radiator Guard

Is the radiator stone guard a standard fitment on the KR1s or is it an aftermarket part?

Standard fitment, made of very thin mesh, and usually rusted out in places, not the highest quality part, but to be expected given the bikes age.

They were still available till a few years ago. Might be worth checking Cradely Kawasaki.

A lot of the ones i have come across have been snapped off because the retaining screws at the bottom
become seized.

A cheap option is to get some honeycomb mesh - you can get it from B&Q (and of course ebay) - and wire
it in place. Spray it black and you can't tell.
