dave i need info on them res chamber spacers packers
prescott`s got 2 slow corners and i want to do me best ,have you any off the top of your head thickness wise measurements to space em out by ,

Dave, did you make these spacers yourself, or are they a commercially available item? I'd certainly be interested in trying some of these for road use, assuming there are no adverse effects anywhere in the engine speed range below chamber closure.dave32 wrote:...they helped at low revs (below 8000rpm) when pulling out of a hairpin or similar...

They were a set of spare standard chambers that i modded,not aware of any "already made versions" but im sure a decent local engineering firm could knock some up out of alloy.
no adverse effects form what ive experienced,once there closed off at the top end its the same as before.
Biggest difference for cheap outlay though is dropping a tooth on the front sprocket to a 14,allows the higher gears to be used and still good for over 125mph.

Thanks for the info Dave. I'll try making some spacers from gasket patterns! About 10-15 years ago, I had things like this made by a local firm which used a water cutter. glad i havent made much headway on the things apart from finding a few abrafile blades ,ime going to cut up n mill some spare res chambers. 14mm it is then ,can always take a bit more off later ,free dyno friday afternoon on 145rd`s now, its cold n fresh ,stutters at 9 grand ish then clears ,plugs are still matt black ,ime going to put the normal 135`s in tommoro and do a few runs and see what that looks like
