Jeez, thats gonna leave a mark :o

Maybe lucky not to loose the full thumb - would make bike riding quite difficult.

That has to be very painful Jan, Hope it heals up well for you and doesn't hold you back.

How did it happen Jan?
I used to be undecided, but now I am not so sure.

Did my first trip (250km) today after my "tuning"

For riding, that pice of thumb is totaly redundant and has no purpose/need 8)
Switching blinkers on and off is a bit painful.

No strokers for a couple of months though I thinck. I was out on the KR1-SV with SV switching gear, and that knob is bigger and more rounded. on a KR, it's small and edgy, and the nerves can't handle that kind of stress

After 120 km's, I did found a big problem : turning over the fuel tap from on to reserve is impossible while riding, or at least for as long as the nerves are too itchy [-X
Just had bought new gloves before my DIY-operation, but they to will have to wait. the leather is still too stiff.

You know it's cold outside when you trip over dog shit instead of standing in it.

as Bernie says

I don't have mine either Ben, I just tried it for fitting only and gave it back to do the little things they forgot. told them it was ok to do it the same time they made the others.
