Won't be much much better than stock, but they're newer and hopefully in better nick.

Should be ok with a std master cylinder, fireblade ones were, I've got a zx7r one on the green bike now and thats spot on, and I've got a late fireblade one for the other bike, try it with the std one and change it later if not happy.

don't think so, had exactly the same calipers on my ypvs with the standard ypvs master cilinder, worked fine.

if you wonder which calipers from which bike will fit :

http://www.beringer.fr/cat/caten.pdf

it's the Beringer catalogue. how to use it ?

look for a Kwak modell that has the same calipers as a KR1-S like the ZZR600, so in our case it's K11A/K01A. all modells that have the same replacements are a direct fit with no modifications needed.

as for the Blade/GSX-R... calipers : all models with H11A/H01A replacements can be used with the same modifications as mentionned in this topic

Found a drawing for the bushes needed for the 'blade, zzr1200, gsxr600, gsxr750 and gsxr1000k2 six potters. This is only suitable for zxr 400 l and h forks, for kr1s a mmend the 19.5mm measurement to 29mm. (if anyone wants to post up an ammended pic please do)

Was also talking to the bloke who does some machining for me and was asking about these and he's doing somemore for me, reckons it's easy enough to make a few so if anyone wants any doing let me know and I'll see about getting a few more done.

thanks,

Right, picking a few sets of these bushes up, both kr and zxr fitment. They are all done and ready will be getting them on Monday, price will be £10 a set (4 bushes) inc post and packing, anyone who wants a set give me a shout, otherwise they'll be off to ebay for the zxr400 boys and the zzr crew

So, The ZZR600 calipers will bolt right up? What year?Including the KR1(not S) ?

KR1 calipers have different bolt spacing to 1S items. All the calipers in this thread are intended for KR1S unless stated otherwise.
Seems a little silly really, as it's the KR1 that really needs a front brake upgrade, not the 1S. #-o And who wants to go to the trouble of fitting 1S brakes, fork bottoms, and front (and rear, so they match) wheels on just to upgrade the brakes. Besides, I actually prefer the 3 spoke wheel.
Surely there's something better for the KR1 that'll be close to bolt on. :?

hmmmm........ :-k :-k
KR250 Tandem Twin (Naked)
KR1 Red/White
KR1S Track Bike (has been put on hold for now)
ZXR750 H1 (Winter project)
