Did Donington with them last year and Cadwell the year before. Nice laid-back feel, no superheroes taking it far too seriously. =D>
Mallory's first on Fri 12th April.
Cadwell weekender sounds great. Saturday 3rd August is the Practical Sportsbikes trackday, and the Sunday is the Classic Bike 'Burn Up'. On Saturday night it's party time, with bands playing in the clubhouse, BBQ's in the paddock etc. Got my tent packed already.
There'll be a Brands Hatch trackday too, no date yet but likely to be 'autumn'.
They've also got a garage booked at Spa for the Bikers Classic on 5-7th July, for those of you feeling a bit more adventurous.
See Classic Bike Trackdays for details and booking info.

Thats good to hear Paul Streets is still racing the RG's,i met him over 10years ago at a Meet at Snetterton (new era),he was running in the "sound of Thunder" class against Modern V twin 1000's,he had an Alloy framed powervalve Gamma (MK6?) and an early steel framed version with NO powervalves that was done up in Sheenie colours (Texaco heron).
He started at the back but won by a mile
Remember he had a Welsh mechanic/mate,he ran across the paddock to bump the 500,it fired up right by this old granny having her lunch, nearly fell off her perch!
There team was called "team lucky streetsy"
Great rider and a nice guy,be good to see him out there again.
we got 7 sessions at mallory CBT last year,20mins each hour, was knackered at the end of it,then had to drive 250 miles home, but worth it
What can you race in the TSGP series?would love to race my 125RS,but dont fancy racing against a load of 16 year olds on £20,000 BSB spec machines

There's a facebook page which has more detail.dave32 wrote:sounds promising, will have to delve a little deeper see whats what and how much its gonna cost.
Did you run in this series last year TSGP Ben?
what club runs it?
How many meets per year?
whats the grid like, mainly GP bikes or roadgoing stuff aswell?
Cheers
Dave
erm Facebook,i try not to
I came across TSGP when Virginia Power posted on here last summer.
I was interested in the series personally, but also in the interest of Derby Phoenix and bringing potential revenue to them.
I went down to see them race and meet the organiser (Mick Stokes) in September. Grids are a broad mix of GP and production class bikes (mainly YPM for that meet).
This was the qualifying results sheet from Saturday morning.
After our discussions over the winter, this year Mick has split the clubs who host the series to 3x2 BEMSEE, NG and DP.
April 13/14 Brands Indy, Bemsee.
May 11/12 Donington, NG
June 22/23 Donington, Phoenix,
July 27/28 Oulton, NG
Sept. 15 Mallory Phoenix
Oct. 5/6 Brands, Bemsee
