I prefer two into two as well Bernie :P but the other thing is saving weight as this thing only puts out 50 odd horse power :?

It's got no rev counter either so need to know if it has a rev limiter :?:

Delved into the airbox today :o as they have a baffle plate fitted which restricts airflow as does the intake trumpet on the side, what a fecker to get into
Got carbs off too, they are a bit different to PWK's LOL,they have 110 mains and 40 pilots so need to find out how much I need to jet up for unrestricted airbox and fruity pipes :P

The breather pipe for the engine/gearbox goes into the airbox so collects all the gunk but has no drain tube to let the shite out so it just sits in there :-S

This exhaust is looking like the one to go for and is basically a copy of the Arrow system but much much cheaper
There are a lot of favourable reviews too and a massive weight saving :P

Stripped front forks last night and found a problem :?

Apart from the oil not looking like it's been changed for 12 years, there is a bit of the bottom of the chrome stanchion has come away

Need to get an opinion on it me thinks

Been reading fork tops off a CBR 600 F3 fit onto the lower Bonneville forks which means you get loads of adjustment, but they are 1.7 inches longer and that's not including the adjusters at the tops

All food for thought ,maybe one new stanchion may solve it all :P

The forks are 41mm diam.
I do have a spare set of Buell M2 forks but they are 42mm #-o

They aren't welded :?
This bike was a front end rebuild and I think they have used some cheapo replacements as I reckon the standard Triumph stuff ain't like this

Well I don't trust those forks and have won some other forks on fleabay and maybe rebuild these forks later on as they will need new stanchions, new seals, new bushes so not going to be peanuts :?

Did try to get some CBR 600 F3 forks but they seem rarer than a rare thing 8-[

Got the replacement forks apart today ,well I couldn't get the bolt underneath out as it was turning inside and Mate's impact air gun thingy did it in seconds

Sound bloke but he has just sold his Hybrid LC and bought a chopper exactly like the ones you see on American Chopper

Got some universal pipes to try but I think they may need too much work to fit them how I want them :?:

Main thing is getting the mounting bracket cut off and cleaning that area up so looks smooth polished stainless again

Looks like a new model is coming out

Still been getting parts for the build and until I get the front Thruxton wheel in I ain't going to do another pic

Just ordered the jetting side with new pilot jets, main jets and a K&N replacement filter
You can get a CDI mod to make it rev a little higher too, so get the power into low 70's ?

So to date I have had (voices made me do it LOL)

Replacement front forks (old ones were shagged)
Thruxton fork internals which basically give the forks some pre load adjustment
Thruxton front wheel (old one was 19 inch,Thruxton is 18 inch and alloy)
LSL Clubman bars
Alloy single clock mount
Fork Gaitors
Chunky lockable fuel cap
Mirror hole blanks
Rear mudguard eliminator with Lucas style rear light
Thruxton front mudguard (will need modding to fit)
h***a 3 piston front caliper to replace standard 2 piston caliper (Bolts straight in [-o< )
Thruxton seat
Thruxton seat cowl
Angel eye headlamp to fit inside standard shell (looks more retro !!)
Stainless silencers but will need major surgery to fit
Alloy bullet style indicators and rear locator brackets
Thruxton rear shocks (Longer)
Removed air injection system
New horn
Skid plate
EBC Front Floating Disc
TEC Rear Shocks
Plastic Side Panels (To Replace Heavier Metal Ones)
