Cadwell Park Testing.

Post by rc46 »

Well We (Elf and Me) where at Cadwell tonight, Putting the bikes through the pre cadwell Thrash I think at the end of it we could have combined bikes and made one good ONE!

Mines Blowen a plug by the looks of it!! Have to wait and see what caused it! and if there is any other damage.

But before all that we both had the usual .... 3 or 4 600's for starters and an R1 for main course... I even tried to get a BBQ going track side...

Image

And then actually started to rip it up a bit!!! and start to look like i knew what i was doing LOL

 well you had a your chances on Friday when I was running in the new pistons and rings and using a set of only lightly tuned cylinders. Was please to see I was lapping in the low 1:50's with this setup and with all the traffic. I should be well into the 1:40's on the full race setup which is way quicker then I went last year. It's taken me alot longer than I thought to get used to a 250 after riding 600's and 1000's for so long.

I'm hopping to have my race cylinders back for the 26th. Gonna try that HTS2000 brazeing stuff and I'm hopping to save the nickosil plating as well  The idea being a very slow and controlled heat input in one of the furances at work, then repair the damage around the two head bolt threads and a slow cool down. If it works then great if not then I'll have to get it replated anyway. Will let you know if it works tomorrow.

15/45 is the same. Both 0.333. On my CR box I'm running 15/39 which is 0.385.
