Had hoped to be able to travel long distances (to the UK and back) with the KR1S too, but I just don't have the courage to try. Had 2 strokers before that failed horribly on the motorway.
Found this (the one in front) bike in Holland and took it home immediately, a 1994 GPZ900r in very good nick:
The return trip home (160miles) was perfect, the bike ran without effort at 120mph. It even passed the Tüv-test without any problems. The front brakes could be better (they are the same ones as on the KR1S), but on the whole I like it. Although it will never make me grin like the KR1S does, that bike is unrivalled and I'll never sell it.
Charles
bought myself a 4stroke

I think when you get to be a bit more familiar with it,it might just make you grin as much as the KR1s and that one looks to be very very nice =D>

Hi Howie
Hope to visit Cadwell with her next month .....
Charles
17" front and 18" rear just like the KR1S. It even came with the original owner manual and tools under the seat. I found several 900Rs that were cheaper than this one (€1450) but those weren't as good as this one. I wanted one from the nineties as those ones got the better brakes plus the 17" front wheel.Howie wrote: What size wheels does the '94 version have?
