Now for something completely different !!
This is what replaced my lc earlier in the year
I love it - 40mph is the new 140 ! You just have to pick your route carefully
Still to paint the sidecar, and i've aquired ex army petrol can and ammo box to be added.

Nah go the whole hog, get an airsoft MG34 or MG42.... You could even run it off an air tank in the back of the chariot.Tambo wrote: Having said that, I've seen replica guns and frag grenades made from timber
You could really put the sh1ts up the four wheel brigade with that poking out the front.
try here...
http://www.rsov.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276 for the MG34
here:
http://www.scaar.at/airsoft/mg42.htm for the MG42...
The 42 is expensive, mind you the 34 ain't cheap....
Not sure how long it would last before either Plod or some thieving gypsy took it away from you though.
They fire the 6mm plastic ball ammo at quite ferocious rates, around 600rpm is common (That is 10 per second) Muzzle velocity has to be below 375fps, the ammo weighs in at 0.2grams a ball. (Energy in each ball is 1.3J)....
Doesn't sound a lot, but one fecking stings.... Ten fecking hurt... Even Hussein Bolt can't run that fast....

You're right Pablo, I'm spoilt for routes here. Had some nice runs east from here - Kelso, Gordon, Lauder, Stow, also down to St Mary's Loch and the Yarrow valley - all very amusing, even at 40 ish !!
Best yet has been 400 odd miles around Dumfries and Galloway. Only down-side is the low overnight temperatures has converted my wife from 'reluctant camper' to 'there's no way on earth I'm ever camping again' - hotel bills make for an expensive weekend

Remember 60 miles in 'Dnepr World' is getting on for 2 hours away , so it makes a flight to real Moscow seem not so far
Not been to Tibbie for ages . Found a good wee campsite in the next valley west - 'Honey Cottage'. On the road from Selkirk to Eskdalemuir. Lovely setting, good facilities - pub's a mile walk though !!
My aim next year is definately more camping trips =D>

I think I know it.That road is my favorite cross border raiding route. If the pub you're talking about is the tushie law I sort of know the landlord.
I ran out of fuel there on a snowy january days trail riding on the Husky. The landlord had a 5ltr can of fuel and drained his lawnmower to get us going again.
We were heading for Langholm and the Husky packed up (CDI) at the tibbetan bhuddist centre.I was sick as a chip freezing cold and soaking wet.
WE tipped all the remaining fuel out of my bike into my mates, and he set of back to get the van.I was there for three hours.I nearly became a bhuddist
I love that area tho, inspite of the midgies

I've heard the safest way to ride a Husky is to phone the ambulance, throw the bike directly into the trees, and then yourself from a first floor window........................... The injuries are the same, but you don't get as muddy, and it saves a lot of timepablo wrote: trail riding on the Husky.
and that's from an ex works rider !!
Yep, must be a mile south of Tushie Law. Worth a visit.

Me and the Husky have been through a lot together.I nearly changed it for a KTM 250 exc last year but i kept it and bought a gas gas trials bike instead. Now that does like to fling itself into the treesTambo wrote:I've heard the safest way to ride a Husky is to phone the ambulance, throw the bike directly into the trees, and then yourself from a first floor window...........................
