Hi Pookie

I waxed all the polished alloy, so it just gets a wipe with a duster and some Mr Sheene :D

I fancy an S3 or a H1 (D ,E or F) but I will need to save up my pennies as the youngest is starting her 2nd degree in January.

But loving the KR, even though it knackers me riding it

Hi Dave,
It will have to be a scrapyard US import (unless you spot a cheap one and don't have room for it [-o< )
How is your KR coming along?

Glad yours is up and running, mine still requires tyres, what with moving house umpteen times, might get them over winter pennies permitting. Hope she's running well, and have you fired up the after burners, open her up son

Hi Wayne,

I have wound her up a few times now 8)

I want to take it easy until I have set her up correctly on a dyno.

Re-set up the carbs today as she was a bit difficult to start. (thanks to Martin for the technical help).
She started much better, so I took her for a blast
My wrists still hurt with 100+ wind assistance to hold my fat carcass off my wrists
(PS. Martin she goes like a rocket)
Still grinning :D

I wager it sounds fantastic too mr B..

Be careful though.. I was very lucky today - a very very very very very very nice policewoman got me with the speed gun on the bike coming out of a 60 into a 30.. and let me off..

Phew
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

It was on a straight section of duel carriageway with a roundabout at each end and no other junctions, I did a slow run to make sure the coast was clear (and to make sure she was warm) then I scared the crap out of myself on the return run, the bridge over the river in the middle did not seem much at 50mph, but it did at 110
The front end went very light.....
Then when I reached the roundabout at the end, I had to stop for traffic, and when I went to put my left foot down..... It wouldn't.... Then I noticed my shoelace wrapped around the gear lever.... An awkward moment

But.....still grinning :)

So you was wearing trainers then [-X shorts and t-shirt :D

It will go a bit faster then that if you can find a very long road, with no traffic, no potholes and no speed cameras

Trainers, T shirt, Yes.
Leather jacket and jeans, I wasn't planning on going out.
But I certainly don't think I will be riding with trainers again, if I hadn't had enough room to blip the throttle to straighten her up (and get my right foot down) I would have had a very embarrassing off.
