Great to hear you finally got that KR1S you were after ..
And for those in the know. .. I still want your AR..haha
It's just a bit far to ride it from Gibraltar
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

Dont get Bernie going on polishing your end bit! There will be no stopping him.

On a more serious point John the regulator rectifier looks pretty corroded. Please be carefull with these since if they fail full charging current will hit the ECU and cause some expensive damage. Many of the guys on here replace the old rectifiers with modern ones from Electrexworld.

Nice find - how do prices compare to the UK

Never heard of Deox C so googled it and it gets some good reviews - going to give it a try on my rebuild - safe to use too 8)

yes mate..
when you get the knack with it deox c is great. wash out and make sure tank is grease free for best results,
dont leave in for too long 12-18 hours works for me.. depending on how rusty.
then rinse well with clean water.. and dry well.. i use a heat gun with care.. too over zelous and you can burn the paint from the inside out.

theres no way to compare prices as these bikes were never sold here in spain.. i have one of very few imports..
