Deal or Not
Hi all
Am just about to buy my first! KR1S and want to know if i am getting ripped off.
Its was made in 1991 body work is perfect apart from one or two small scratches. Everything works, electrics ect and it revs well.
Its only done 7000 miles and had 3 or 4 owners, as far as i can see it is totaly original and need a bit of a tidy up.
I am paying £900 am i getting riped off.

is the bodywork original or aftermarket fibreglass stuff?
how much of a tidy up does it need?
any sign of oil leeks in the motor?
900quid for a 7k kr1s is a good price as long as you dont need to start throwing money at it.
most things can be sorted or tidied up with nothing more than a bit of spare time.
if you've got any pics that might help.

Yep the bodywork is original and as far as i have seen there is no serious oil leaks.
I recon there is nothing in the way of tidying up that i cant do or anything i need to spend alot of money on.
The only real expense i can see is new tyres and chain and sprocket kit. Breaks look and work well so wont need pads or new disk.
