Blimey, a Kr1s wins a trophy at a show

Mind you it is a very good looking Kr1s.

You must be right made up Pablo =D> All the hard work has paid off fella.

Congrats on the accolade Pablo. A fantastically well catalogued build sharing all the "ups and downs" from start to end.

Please make sure you share the last few steps with us.

Cheers

The painter borrowed the KR1s to take to the Teeside vintage bike show, and it won another prize. Best emerging classic.............whatever that means.

Anyway now it's back, and in bits again.

The rear shock just is not right, so it's off and going back to the chap who refurbed it. I'd been putting it off cos I hadn't wanted to take it apart again, but I set to it today and it only took Lynyrd skynyrds greatest hits, and half a Seasick Steve album to remove the said item.

Hello again everyone. It's been a while since I posted on the forum, but a friend sent me this wee clip he took on his phone last year. It was the first time the KR1s had been ridden since it was rebuilt, and hasn't been ridden since
I'm in the middle of the Z1000r rebuild now and I'll post a few pictures as it progresses.

I'm off for a mooch roond the forum to see what's been going on
