Well whatever happens it's one of the most interesting builds going on at the minute, and I'm enjoying following the progress.

I hope it's in A1 condition when you're at croft Ben, cos if we're not away I'll come down. It's only 15 min away.

Hi Ben,

That is looking fantastic. You have clearly put a lot of hard work into it.

Cheers

Thanks again for the encouraging comments.

Here's a photo of the belly pan finished, though had it been taken outside in the light of day, the light would have reflected off the paint work and it would have looked better.

I cut that side vent in there and in laid some carbon fiber to match the X-09. The left side was left plain.

Yes that's correct. You get a compound choice with the race power one's, so I will be running them all season.

It's all started to come together now and starting to look nice. Here's the tank with the kawasaki sticker.

Complete photos not too far off now.

Not terribly exciting, but I've added some heat shielding to the belly pan.

because the chain was fouling the expansion chamber, I have fitted a motocross chain tensioner via an aluminium bracket and hung it from the swing arm to give it the clearance it required.

Does the chain run across a block of nylon or is there a roller.

I've made some good progress today and finished the painting, mounted the hugger Ade gave me, set the lock stops, bled the rear brake, bent the torsion bar so it clear the tyre and put the exhausts back on.

I am unfortunately away all weekend, so won't be making any progress or taking any photos until Monday now.

I'm looking forward to seeing it all together, as the body work has been in my office for the past 10 days, but also interested to see your reactions and comments to the finished or close to finished article.

I'm sure I speak for many on here when I say this has been one of the most interesting threads for ages - I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished pictures too =D>
